hiho everyone! i bet you must be wondering, why am i still awake at this time? it's an unearthly hour and so good for sleeping! hahahaha~ but ya, i'll be uploading some of the photos (previous kbox, dnd) on facebook soon, because flickr can only do so much, and this blog space can also only hold so much. however, at the moment, facebook is giving me some problems and the photos apparently will be put on hold till further notice, but when it's done i'll let you guys know. for those people who don't have facebook, don't despair. this link is independent on whether you have an account or not (or so i heard, so yep).
meanwhile, the rest who do have photos *ahem ahem* haha, please do feel free to post it on this blogspace. if you do have your personal album location (facebook preferred, or snapfish, shutterfly, photobucket, picasa etc) that would even be better. and if anyone wants the photos please do let me know, i'll send them out...but ya haha i don't wanna spam everyone's emails with unwanted things, so just let me know and i'll send them to you. meanwhile, for your inner cravings, if you do have the time, and if you're finding the sole reason to go back to eat japanese food, please visit the link below. i'm not trying to advertise for them, but it's just so darn good! yep take care you guys and haha, stay strong! remember, if you eat orh jian, make sure you tell the uncle to cook it more...for your own safety and our group's survival. cheerios!

woohoo!
anyway, here's kudos to weiliang for setting up this blog. i'm sure you guys have all been awaiting it (:
but that aside, i think i'll personally note what i think of the group here. contrary to public belief, i'm not someone who expresses his thoughts freely, so here goes.
from the start of the first day of the camp, i was slightly skeptical. reason being, i've been to 1 engine camp (insinyur) and i felt that things were only done on a very surface level. we had time for interaction, but didn't have enough of it, so you could say the job was only 50% done. of course, we'd have to do the rest of the 50% by ourselves, but being a large group, things spread out and thinned. i guess that was the short term problem, but i was a bit worried. that's why i actually contemplated whether to join orientation in the first place. should i put myself through all this just to find things not the way i want it?
but then again, every outcome is different. every camp is different. and according to a whole lot of other people, hall camp is the most fun camp of all. so well, it's probably going to be the last camp where i'm gonna be a freshie, so what the heck, i just stepped into the unknown.
the first impression of our group was "woah"...there's a diverse range of people here. sporty people, knowledgable people, funny people, quiet people, but we all had the same goal...to have fun and get to know each other better. i guess that was one thing that i felt, and from then i never looked back. it has been a really fun time going thru all the stupid yet hilarious games and even though at times it was draggy (night cycling), and even though we were all having sorethroats, husky voices and bruises all over, we still had a good laugh. i would say it has been a totally interesting company with you guys. it might sound passe, but i don't think i'll be who i am now without you.
being in a group allows people to see other's outer selves, but at the same time, we do leech of other people's character, which makes us who we are today. that's what we humans do, grow as a group, live as a group and mould together as a group. well, i'm proud to say that i've been in fremont, precisely because the people i'm mixing with are unique and interesting, and yet we are able to clique nicely. *woots* meanwhile, if you think by any chance i'm talking gibberish, ask yourself this question, have you enjoyed yourself when you've been part of fremont? and the next question i would like to ask is, will you want to carry on this journey as part of fremont?
well, that is all i have to say for now, till next time, stay strong, we have a lotta fun times ahead of us (minus or maybe including the studying portion), and fremont rocks. i might not know why i'm the mambo king (riding on the coattails of the mambo queen hahaha) but i jolly well know i'm in fremont! (:
ps. the uncut videos are on the way, so stay tuned!
